Ok so I just bought two Series 3 HD Tivo boxes. I am in the process of transferring the lifetime from the S1 and S2 boxes that I have. I will keep one of the S3, and maybe give the other as a gift.
My question is what TV do I need to buy to use this (as I do not currently have an HD TV)? In particular I'm wondering if I need to pay extra for a tv that has a "built-in tuner" since the tivo unit already has 2 built-in tuners. Should I save some money and just go for a monitor only type of tv? What are the advantages/disadvantages of buying a tv with/without a built in tuner if it is to be used exclusively witht the S3 Tivo?
