You could buy a DVD burner for the video signal out of the tivo but that is a pain because it will take forever to do. You best option would be to buy a DVD burner for you computer, a copy of Sonic and just download the shows to your computer, edit them and burn to DVD. The quality will be so much better and it is way faster to do.

I already have a DVD player (w/o burning capability) connected to my TV so ideally what I would like to do is buy something that I can use to connect to my computer as well. Do you need a special DVD burner in order to capture the video signal coming out of the Tivo or does it just require a special cable. I'm pretty ignorant about my options. On my laptop I have a 1394 jack, CD jack (not sure what it's called, and a USB 2 jack. Is there some way of using that to copy it to an external DVD drive without losing quality? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jonathan
