OK, STILL did not get one, even with that nice rebate that is gone...

OK, when that time comes, I would like to be READY.
I have set up MANY TiVo's in the past, 3 of my own and many for friends.
Very easy, just follow the screen.
But with this NEW series 3, a few things are different.
Like when it gets delivered, there will some time between getting it, and
when the cable guy comes with the cable cards.
Should I order 1 or 2 cable cards?
Out of the box, can I go thru the setup without any cable cards connected?
Seems crazy to go thru the setup while the cable guy is there with you, or
does it have to be this way?
I might be DAYS before the cable guy comes with the card. And even more days
to find the right day that I would be there at home...
Hopefully there is a way to set it up with basic cable (cable connected
directly to the new box). But then I guess I would have to re-set
everything when cable cards come?
