This is a well known issue. Comedy Central is absolutely terrible about the program information they provide. It is usually OK for most of the week. The normal problem is Monday when they repeat the previous Friday's show. They never seem to flag those correctly. But it gets bad when they have repeat weeks - and these two weeks both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are on vacation and showing repeats. So *none* of the airings are flagged as repeats. TiVo errs on the side of caution. If it can't tell that a program is a repeat, it assumes it is first run. > only new episodes are a 11pm EST. I thought about setting a manual > recording at 10pm, but sometimes it'll shift a bit, or they'll be repeats > then too so it would be cleaner to just tell it not to record at 2pm > Monday, for example. (one of its favorites) I handle it by pruning the To Do list. Since it is normally fairly good most of the week, I just have to go into the To Do list and kill the extra Monday recordings. This is better than a fixed recording because it allows the scheduling algorithm to handle any conflicts, then I just prune the extras. And some of the time Comedy Central actually gets it right and there isn't much to do. This week and next I just went in and killed every recording. More work than normal, but that doesn't happen often. -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.TiVoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
