As others have mentioned, this is because the proper "repeat" flag isn't being
set in the guide data. Like Megazone said, if Tivo isn't *sure* it's a repeat,
Tivo records. I have this exact same problem with both Daily Show and Colbert
Report.

Here's what I do, though this may not work for most people. The Daily Show and
Colbert Report are favorites of mine, but I tend to only want to watch them in
a timely fashion since they're topical -- in other words, if I don't get to
Colbert for a couple of days, well, I'm not that interested anymore. (I mean
it's probably still funny and all, but it's not the same.)

So for both shows I have SPs set up to keep a maximum of *1* episode. In
theory, then, I've always got the latest one sitting there for me to watch.
Whether it's from the Tuesday 10 PM airing or the Wednesday 1 PM airing doesn't
matter to me, really.

It's not perfect -- reruns can screw me up, and I do end up missing the
occasional show if I'm busy. But it's better than filling up my DVR.

Now if only Chiller would fix the #*^$@(*^% guide data for Twin Peaks...
