Once upon a time mrschwarz50 shaped the electrons to say... > After you remove the screws in the back (I think there are more than > 2), lift the back slightly and pull the cover toward the back of the > unit. It's a tight fit, but it should slide off. Good luck!
Huh, how did I miss the original? It has been a long time since I played with a Series1, but I think they may have only two screws - one at each upper corner on the rear. I foudn this site with a picture: http://www.gormly.com/tivo/connected.asp Once the screws are removed, you do just slide it 'back'. But there are spring clips in the front so it is pretty stiff. Using a bladed screwdriver to pry, gently, along the seam in the front can help free it and pop it off. -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.TiVoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
