What USB adapter are you using ? I understand that not all WiFi adapters will do everything. The only one that works 100% is the Tivo overpriced unit, but it is a nice piece.
I did have to reboot my tivo once after a failed transfer (I stopped it prematurely, and then nothing would communicate with it until after the reboot). A friend and I were experimenting a bit, he found this http://prish.com/etivo/tbr.htm to convert tivo2go to regular mpeg files. He sent me a sample show, both in .tivo format, and the converted mpeg format. I could watch the .tivo file if I changed my Media Access Key in the Tivo2go server, but none of my other shows would play (as you'd expect). The .mpeg file played perfectly on my computer and on the Tivo, but he said his was a little flakey on his laptop. I have not yet tried the program myself, only tried his files. The nice part about this is the ability to burn an mpeg to a dvd for later viewing anywhere, assuming of course that it's not copyrighted material.
