I've been recording a program for some time with no problems but suddenly the SP started recording the program just before also not leaving enough time for the actual wanted program. I didn't know how to correct this without losing the wanted hour so I added an hour to the recording time at the end. Now I get the one I originally set up but also get the hour before it. When this first started happening I was only getting the first half hour and not the second half of requested series, so I watched the one I wanted, in real time, and then went back and watched the first half that had taped. But now with the hour added in the SP setup I just fast forward through the first program and to get to the show I originally wanted all intact.
But I would like to be able to cancel the wrong one and just record the other. I have Season Passes for a number of programs and they tape without a problem. It is only this one SP that this happens with. When it first started happening I thought it was due to being preempted by another unexpected program, but it became the norm. I've thought of cancelling the SP and setting it up again, but I'm afraid it will turn out the same and I lose that sequence, because I don't know how to make it up. Does anyone know what would cause this and how it can be adjusted to tape properly on time? Thanks, San
