I'm using Tivo Desktop v 2.7 and Windows Media Player v11.0.5721

But... I'm still running Windows XPPro, not Windows 7. You have to expect
that early on many programs may not run with new OS releases.

At the moment everything works fine, no unusual delays, no transcoding
problems, it just works. It wasn't always the case, while the recorded
shows usually played just fine, Tivo Desktop was having issues making
connections, transferring shows, and even just starting up was an issue.

I had to do a slash and burn (reinstall from scratch) on the whole computer
after a hard drive failure, and since then it has been working perfectly. I
suspect I just had corrupt registry info that was keeping it from working
correctly before the rebuild.

As for Windows 7, I'll be letting you test drive it for a while, XP has been
too good to me to wander into unfamiliar territory, especially right after
my fresh setup.

Glen
