ObNote:

Despite using TMDA as previously describe, I have yet to ever confirm
my address to a TMDA-user's TMDA installation and I suspect that it
will be a long while before I ever do bother confirming thru TMDA for
  an individual.

Why? The primary case where I run into TMDA confirms is for courtesy
copies for mailing list replies. If they wish to gate their email doors
on that front that's not my bother or interest. Its not worth my
attention or effort: they can pick up my reply on the list like everyone
else.

Conversely I have confirmed my address to a few TMDA-fronted lists.
Why? It was worth my time and attention to.

So far I've received just under 20 TMDA confirm requests from
individuals, all in regard to list posts.
