This strikes me as deeply ironic. I am a TMDA user (duh!) but people responding to my list posts don't get asked to confirm, because I post with dated addresses. The irony of having gone to the bother of installing TMDA and then blocking not only the spam, but also the valid messages from real people participating in the same discussion as you just slays me. :) (That's a generic you, not referring to JC).
