Is it possible to insert a qualification step in the server-side TMDA
processing strip just before confirmation message generation that would, say,
execute a command and, depending on the exit status, either send the
confirmation request or not?

The reason I ask is I was reading http://www.paulgraham.com/spam.html and it
occurred to me (please be civil now, 'yall) that *if* it were true that
TMDA-generated confirmation requests actually generated more spam, it would be
a good idea to only send confirmation requests for emails that were extremely
unlikely to be spam.

I know some people here believe that spam filtering like Paul's are
incompatible with TMDA and that it is an either/or selection. I disagree: it
seems like all the whitelist/blacklist, filtering, client-side, and other
features of TMDA are quite useful, but that a qualification step *before*
sending confirmation messages would *also* be a useful feature.
