Sylpheed seems to have a bug where it isn't able to recognize that the SMTP server (tmda-ofmipd in this case) supports SMTP AUTH. To fix this, change the SMTP Authentication method from "automatic" to "CRAM-MD5" in your Sylpheed configuration. This worked for me. This is located at Account preferences --> Send --> Authentication --> Authentication methods (pull-down menu). You might also want to report this to the Sylpheed developers. _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
