1) Could you enable LOGFILE_INCOMING and show us what it says? 2) Delivered mail will remain in pending/. This is often a matter of confusion. The true test of delivery is whether the mail shows up in your inbox. That may be obvious, but many people get confused when the mail is still in pending/. 3) Do you have PENDING_RELEASE_APPEND set in your ~/.tmda/config (~/.tmdarc)? Perhaps the best thing would be to post your entire configuration file.
