The reason I'm asking is that it looks like TMDA is configured on a per-user basis, using the .qmail file to call tmda (is that correct). It also looks like it can be configured on a site-wide basis by /etc/tmdarc (at least that's what I'm hoping). The relay server in this scenario doesn't have any users hosted on it, it's just a passing through point for mail to an SMS server. Anyway, I'm really just wondering if i can use tmda as a filter for all incoming mail without actually having mail accounts on the tmda server (relay).
BTW, I use SMS for monitoring as well, it's saved my butt a number of times. Netsaint is wonderful, huh? =) Thanks, Joseph -----Original Message----- From: Leif Neland [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, December 10, 2002 5:47 AM To: Joseph M. Often I use SMS to send alerts ("Serverroom temperature 120degrees"), so often there is no human to read the messages from TMDA.
