A lot of the details of setting up TMDA fall under the category of
"things UNIX users should know."  Things like editing files and
making directories.  TMDA assumes a basic level of UNIX competence.

That said, I understand how people can be wary about things like
this.  I've created step-by-step instructions (a HOWTO of sorts)
for my users at http://www.rupture.net/tmda/ .  It's linked from
the TMDA site and may be helpful.  Some of the information is
specific to my setup, but most of it is pretty generic.
