I've never used tmda-pending to do individual message control, but
rather to do some automated pending queue cleanups after set times.

For individual message control, I started using tmda-cgi which works
great. And if you set variables for PENDING_WHITELIST_APPEND and/or
PENDING_BLACKLIST_APPEND, you get additional controls from the web gui
that provide all of these options.

>From the Web GUI, I can pass, show, release, delete, add to whitelist,
