Are you using qmailadmin or somesuch? I don't use it, but I believe it creates the .qmail files in the virtual users home directory. The files created by vadduser-tmda will be executed before the .qmail file in the virtual users directory (/home/vpopmail/domans/baffler.net/dude), so it should work anyway.
