There is no difference between the 'confirmed' and 'whitelist' files
under the default setup.  For me, it's just a convenience that there are
two files, because then, I can easily keep track of the addresses that
have been auto-confirmed, and those which I have manually whitelisted.

TMDA will function just fine if you combine those two files into one.
Therefore, if you find it easier to manage your setup with a single
confirmed/whitelist file, then go ahead and configure TMDA that way.
