OK, let's see if I can explain this without getting long-winded and see
if there is a possible solution.

I am using qmail's alias file to accept mail that is sent to a
particular address, for example: [EMAIL PROTECTED], when qmail
receives it, the alias file sends that mail to my real address, for
example: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Is there a way that I can examine the header to show where it was
originally sent (the sysadmin) address, and then have the confirmation
appear to have come from that address, like with
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Basically, it kind of voids the point of having the alias if they are
going to get the confirmation back from the real name anyhow.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

David
