Even though is a nice idea, if you try [EMAIL PROTECTED] or any similar combination (just scramble something on the keyboard and end it on aol.com) will always render GOOD. It does not means it does not work, it just mean that there are too many servers out there giving false information. As the check takes extra time (and CPU/Memory), I consider it not worth to be used.
