Hello,

I've been having a slight problem with my Delivery Confirmation emails,
which I have tried searching for a solution through all the faq and previous
mailing list posts, but I haven't found anything.
Except for the email below.

As with Andrew, I have setup a cron job script setup to mail our customers
(ISP) every morning a list of emails in their pending queue. This list is
generated by tmda-pending, so the list includes the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] email addresses so the customer
can release pending mail straight from their mailbox.

eg: here is an extract of my daily pending summary mailout:
E-mail: 1 of 116 (701 bytes) Release E-mail
Subject: Home Loans!... Debt Consolidation... Refinance... 247 gu
From: "Mariano Shaver" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Date: Sat, 07 Jun 03 02:00:57 GMT

The release E-mail link goes to :
mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

However, when a customer (or myself) clicks on this release email, and sends
a blank email to the confirm address to release it, the original msg
releases ok, but the "Delivery Confirmation" email then comes back into
pending.
Eg, one customer had this in the daily pending summary:

E-mail: 1 of 47 (2350 bytes) Release E-mail
Subject: Re: Delivery Confirmation
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Date: Thu, 08 May 2003 09:03:13 +1200 (NZST)

E-mail: 2 of 47 (2344 bytes) Release E-mail
Subject: Re: Delivery Confirmation
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Date: Thu, 08 May 2003 09:03:18 +1200 (NZST)

So if you sent a blank email to the "confirm" address, it gets released, but
the delivery confirmation gets stuck back in pending.
Shouldn't the delivery confirmation go back to your mailbox?

This of course doesn't happen when the original sender confirms the message,
as they get the delivery confirmation back to them. Only happens when the
user sends a confirm, to their confirm address, from their own address.

If you need more info on whats happening, let me know what to provide.
Any ideas?
Thanks, much appreciated.

P.S. There wasn't any reply to the email below?? Is it possible to use the
action "+delete+" ??? or any other action?
