No major changes since when the FAQ was written, I did it with Exim 4.xx, assuming you are using Exim 4.xx not 3? I have not tested on 3 and doubt that it will work on 3. The main issue you are most likely to find is due to permissions as the transport needs to change user to the account sending out the mail. To troubleshoot you will need to run Exim in debug (as mentioned in the FAQ) and carefully check the output. You should see the issue in there.
