That's very old Mandrake practice. If you have used Mandrake from the early days, 
you'd see the 
reference to Red Hat on the boot screen. But this has long since passed. Mandrake is 
its own distribution 
now, and what happens to Red Hat will have little or no bearing on the health of 
Mandrake - they have 
their own problems ;-)
