Hi John, As an act of kindness, let me give you a tip:
If you want people to reply to you messages on a mailing list, then don't use HTML. You may feel it is your right to use HTML, but then you must also recognise that it is also other people's right not to read HTML posts. HTML is generally used by clueless newbies using MS Outlook, and by spammers - ie. people who value form over content. If you wish to associate yourself with such people in the way you present your email, then please be willing to live with the consequences. The TMDA list is filled with helpful people. My experience is that if you don't get any replies, one of three things are true: 1) You have not provided enough information for someone to help you. 2) You have provided enough information, but nobody has encountered that problem, or knows how to fix it offhand. 3) You have come across like a git, and will have to try a second time with careful attention to politeness and an attitude that makes people want to help you. Demanding anything is a sure sign that you have screwed up. My personal experience is that 90% of the time that I don't get a reply, the fault lies with me. Please reconsider your past and present posts in this light.
