I currently have tmda setup on my backup mail server which has a higher mx preference. I have recently noticed some mail that should be going to my primary mail server ending up on my secondary. With tmda installed on both mail servers, how would a confirmation be handled if it originated from my primary, and the confirmation from the sender was sent to my secondary? (Due to whatever reason, internet hiccup, or if my primary is down for maintenance) I would assume that things would not work correctly. Is there a recommended setup for redundant mailservers with tmda? with regards to the challenge/response possibly coming from a primary, but ending up on a secondary? or vice-versa
