I'm setting up TMDA on a new box. I can send mail either through a pop3
client (Outlook Express) or imap (Squirrelmail) to different simularily
configured boxes using port 25, but not the required port 8025 for
tmda-ofmipd.
Here's my ofmipd start script:
su -l vpopmail -c '/usr/local/tmda/bin/tmda-ofmipd -d -p
ns1.webbtech.net:8025 -A "/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /bin/true" -S
/usr/local/tmda/contrib/vpopmail-vdir.sh' >>/var/log/ofmipd.log 2>&1
When I start the output looks good:
Listening on webbtech.net:8025
tmda-ofmipd started at Tue Jan 6 21:26:01 EST 2004
Test on the box looks good:
# telnet ns1.webbtech.net 8025

Connection closed by foreign host.
I'm using vpopmail and created the TMDA accounts using ./adduser-tmda and
therefore have the required file/dirs for the accout:
