All in /home/vpopmail/domains needs to be vpopmail:vchkpw
Every thing in there needs to have those permissions set.

Yes, your compile is correct on vpopmail, although I would have used the
following also (does not have to do with tmda really)...

./configure --enable-roaming-users=y
--enable-tcpserver-file=/etc/tcp.smtp --enable-relay-clear-minutes=180
--enable-domainquotas=y
--enable-logging=p --enable-defaultquota=50000000
--enable-default-domain=nesys.it --enable-valias=y --enable-qmail-ext=y

All in /home/vpopmail/domains/nesys.it/test/.tmda is vpopmail:vchkpw?
The dirs 'filters', 'lists', 'logs' 'pending' and 'responses' too?
.tmda/crypt_key and all files, always vpopmail:vchkpw?

I've compiled vpopmail whit these options:
./configure --enable-tcpserver-file=/home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp
--enable-qmail-ext --enable-defaultquota=NOQUOTA

Right?

Thanks for all
