I have one virtual account per domain, these are secret and not used. Everything else is a catch-all handled by TMDA. So, I don't have user accounts per se, and the server seems to be doing well in this regard. I think my TMDA setup is already a failsafe device, but perhaps I do not understand what you are trying to say.
