I've been going through everything; I spent much of the night on this. Dated and Sender tagged addresses are still generating confirmation requests.
It seems that Postfix transfers the mail to TMDA with a "X-Original-To" header added, and that header contains only the regular email address (without the tags & address extensions). It would seem that using the "RECIPIENT_HEADERS" option and setting it to look only for the original "To:" header would make sense. But I see two problems with it: 1.) if the message is sent to multiple recipients, TMDA will puke, and 2.) [because I tried it anyway] the RECIPIENT_HEADERS variable finds the "X-Original-To" header, and uses it anyway -- I think it searches for the first instance of "To" (and only "To") in the headers. Am I barking up the right tree here? Any ideas? -- Mark J.
