I've tried to look through the mail list & faqs, but couldn't fix my
problem:
I've got an external relay running RH 9.0, Postfix 2.0.18 & tmda 1.0.2.
This external box accepts mail for 4 domains: dom1.com, dom2.com,
dom3.com, dom4.com
Mail for virtual users is forwarded to an internal box. eg
[EMAIL PROTECTED] & [EMAIL PROTECTED] are both forwarded to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] There is a "real" user1 on the internal
box but not on the external box.
(Also, email addressed to first_lastname, firstname, lastname are all
routed to one username for example: bkirsch, kirsch, brian.kirsch, brian
on the outside all go to user "bgk2004" on the inside -- the "real"
username)
Here is a line from the virtual.regexp file...
/^(bkirsch|brian|brian_kirsch)@(dom1\.com|dom2\.com|dom3\.com|dom3\.co\.uk|dom3\.org)$/
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Where I'm lost is how to configure postfix/tmda for the virtual user
bkirsch/brian/brian_kirsch on the outside box. All the virtual
instructions seem to be for qmail & the lists don't seem to be much help.
