You didn't find any prior information about a Postfix/TMDA gateway,
because no one has figured out how to do this.  qmail has a more
flexible virtual domain facility that lends itself naturally to this
kind of thing.

If you figure out how to do this with Postfix, please let us know as I
think others would be interested.
