Hey R'twick, et al, Just wanted to give an update, since it might help others...
Regarding your question and my assign file, yes I had + in front. Here's what I've found: At first, in plesk, I had it so that all e-mail that wasn't sent to a legitimiate address was bounced. I turned this off through plesk (I assume it changed .qmail-default). This seemed to fix the first problem. Second...on the first server, it was setup with one domain, but the second server I was trying to setup uses vpopmail, so directory structures were a little different. What I found is that on the first server (single domain) all .tmda scripts, files and folders existed in /home/username. Respectivly for each user. But on the multi-domained server (the seceond server), if I put the tmda scripts, files, folders, etc. in the vpopmail directory, under the specific domain, it worked! The bad thing is, it affects ALL users under this one domain, but this doesn't matter for me because I do want it on for all users. So, I put the scripts in /home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com and it works great! The funny things is, I really havn't tried this on the second server yet. I changed the first server from a 1 domain system to use vpopmail (still with only hosting 1 domain, I just wanted the vpopmail tools and whatnot). So when I re-install qmail and all else on this first server, that's when I realized the directory was different for vpopmail. So I'll be trying it tomorrow on my second server, but I'm 110% sure it'll work. Thanks R'twick for all your help! Plesk by default makes it =. You have to change the =s to +s and then run /var/qmail/bin/qmail-newu. Bounce qmail and xinetd and then see if this problem goes away. > Regarding /var/log/maillog, the file exists but is empty. > plesk stores the maillog at /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog. here's what i got in my maillog for a confirmation reply Nov 15 22:27:10 konark qmail: 1100575630.664153 new msg 262415 Nov 15 22:27:10 konark qmail: 1100575630.664243 info msg 262415: bytes 4662 from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> qp 27246 uid 2520 Nov 15 22:27:10 konark qmail-scanner[27234]: Clear:RC:0(216.136.172.94):SA:0(-4.8/3.0): 1.414728 4236 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Re:_Please_confirm_your_message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1100575629.27236-0.konark.utkalika.net:3276 orig-konark.utkalika.net110057562966027234:4236 Nov 15 22:27:10 konark qmail: 1100575630.687139 starting delivery 2339: msg 262415 to local [EMAIL PROTECTED] Nov 15 22:27:10 konark qmail: 1100575630.687203 status: local 1/10 remote 1/20 Hope this helps you find the problem R'twick _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
