Hi R'twick, I'm running Plesk v7.1.3.
Regarding the bounceing of all iligitimate e-mails, I thought that was strange as well. I was playing with it and anytime I had is set to bounce, it didn't work, but once I turned it off, it works fine. Who knows? Regarding the locations, on my NON-plesk server, the first server I was getting this setup on, the location is /home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com, and I used the http://www.qmailrocks.com/ installation. On the second server (running plesk), the directories are as you stated /var/qmail/mailnames/domain.com Thanks for the advice, I actually did do some searching on user level blocking, but decided to try the domain level blocking as the main purpose of using tmda is to block the spam. So legitimate users to one user on the system is ok for the domain since they most likely aren't sending spam. But we'll see how it goes for now. Thanks again. However, few things as I also use plesk reloaded (7.1.4) and my setup is bit different from what you have now and its working fine. Quoting "John S. What I found is that on the first server (single domain) > all .tmda scripts, files and folders existed in /home/username. Respectivly > for each user. But on the multi-domained server (the seceond server), if I > put the tmda scripts, files, folders, etc. in the vpopmail directory, under > the specific domain, it worked! The bad thing is, it affects ALL users > under this one domain, but this doesn't matter for me because I do want it > on for all users. So, I put the scripts in > /home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com and it works great! > What version of plesk are you using? plesk stores mail on my server under /var/qmail/mailnames/domain/user directories. Are you using plesk 2.x versions? I started using plesk from version 5 and it's always been under /var/qmail/mailnames. Now there may be some problem with your setup .. i.e. one user may not want mail from some person where as another user may want it from that person. Since now you have only one whitelist/blacklist/filter file for all users under a domin, this will cause problem. I think, .qmail extensions are working only on domain level not on user level and that's why you have to disable bouncing and enable catch all for the domain and put .tmda on domain level. There are some good threads how to get tmda work with qmail/vpopmail at user level (not domain level) some search will definitely help. -R'twick -- This is a signature ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program. _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
