I don't know about that, perhaps your outgoing filter is just much more complex than mine or something. I've had good luck with one rule for each mailing list, and then at the end: to-file ~/.tmda/lists/whitelist tag envelope dated=14d from bare to-file ~/.tmda/lists/wildcards tag envelope dated=14d from bare To cover my whitelisted contacts. Everyone else gets a dated address. I don't use bare=append, but just add to the whitelist or wildcards file with tmda.el if I think I might be conversing with this person in the future, and once a series of exchanges establish their permanent address. I don't use keyword addresses or sender addresses. Pretty simple I think. Made simpler by the fact that I now read nearly all my mailing lists off Gmane. > What was the thread topic again? I'm at a loss. However, I'd like to try and convince you to rely on your outgoing filter using X-TMDA only on special occasions (i.e, as it was intended). I think in the end you'll save yourself pain and suffering this way. Some specific examples of where you've run into problems in the past using this methodology might be a good start. _________________________________________________ tmda-workers mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-workers
