This is true. Again though, I'm not sure I'm going to keep the DELIVERED_CACHE. I've already envisioned a scenario where this would be replaced with another method, at which point the feature you've provided will be broken, users will bitch & moan, etc. I "learned my lesson" when I broke keyword address compatibility a few releases back, and am trying harder to plan ahead. So, although you're free to use your patch locally, I'm not going to check it in.
