Remembering that I'm not a patent attorney, I don't think that what you
describe is what the patent application in question describes. The patent
application seems to describe one of two ways in which you can get email to
me:

1) going to a web based form and sending me email - no trustcode needed

or

2) sending me email through SMTP using a trustcode in part of the
email address

TMDA does #2, but I can't ever see TMDA doing #1. Since TMDA doesn't meet
all of the claims it can't possibly infringe.

So my instinct is to ignore it. It doesn't apply and doesn't look like it
ever will.

But what do I know? I'm no patent atty and my interpretation of what
the patent should be given the same value as my solutions for global
world peace.

Cheers,
