Tomorrow I'm going to request that the past archives be imported into the Gmane groups for tmda-users and tmda-workers.
This means that if you've read articles in the group before doing the import, they'll suddenly become unread again, since they're assigned new article numbers. This is inconvenient, but it's a one-time inconvenience. I feel it's valuable to have the full article history available in Gmane. For Gnus users, this also means your "tick" marks will be lost, so if you've ticked any articles, you might want to make a mental note of them soon.
