What's the one (or two) thing about qmail that is most problematic for TMDA?
My vote would be for the fact that qmail-local leaves no trace of the *original* envelope recipient in the environment. If the mail is sent to a virtualdomain address, it's unnecessarily difficult to take RECIPIENT and reconstruct the original recipient. This is what accounts for the gorpish 35 lines of code in tmda-rfilter that does /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains parsing to retrieve the original recipient. This is not only kludgey but performance degrading. I ask because I'm thinking of contributing $500 or so to djb's new ``Bernstein Writing Fund'' with a request to target this or another issue that would benefit TMDA. See http://cr.yp.to/donations.html I don't think he'll implement it otherwise, as previous inquiries on the matter have gone unanswered. _________________________________________________ tmda-workers mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-workers
