Yup. djb writes great software, but his acerbic demeanor has created a cycle of hate that has extended to many of his users, which is unfortunate. The same is true on the OpenBSD lists because of Theo. The Internet, with it's great distance and anonymity provides a comfortable medium for people, as they now are unconstrained by things such as physical limitations that would normally curb their responses. I think you can get a better sense of someone's true nature because of this. The same explains the ``road rage'' phenomenon, but it's even more pronounced on the net I think. Over the years on the net, I've had things said to me and about me that would have never been said, had I been in the same room. I've tried to just accept that this is the way it is, and turn my back on the animosity, instead of trying to fight every battle. You'll lose your mind otherwise. > Config file -> Intermediate format -> Parser program [...] > So what about the more advanced users who can handle the notion of > indenting and colons? You got it. How feasible it is, I'm not quite sure. _________________________________________________ tmda-workers mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-workers
