Hi there, it appears tmda-address and tmda-sendmail create addresses differently.
<snip> $ cat | tmda-sendmail -f [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: test2 Date: Mon Dec 16 15:09:42 CET 2002 X-TMDA: keyword=test2 Blub. <snip> This results in: <snip> Dec 16 15:17:00 zappa qmail: 1040048220.337671 delivery 1249: failure: 194.97.55.148_does_not_like_recipient./Remote_host_said:_550-Verification_failed_for_<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>/550-unknown_local_part_"marc-keyword-test2.53804d"_in_domain_"freenet-rz.de"[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Giving_up_on_194.97.55.148./ <snip> The address used is '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. The mail domain freenet-rz.de is handled by a MTA which does not honour dash notation in mail adresses, so I have to handle those adresses on my local machine. In order to do that, I have this in .tmda/config: <snip> HOSTNAME = "zappa.freenet-rz.de" <snip> tmda-address seems to do the right thing<tm>: <snip> $ tmda-address -k test2 [EMAIL PROTECTED] <snip> Sending mails from this address works fine. Please let me know if this is a misunderstanding on my side... I should add that the 'X-no-spam' header in this mail is included in all of my mails and that I'm a bit of a TMDA evangelist at work and in private. Thanks a lot for giving my mailboxes back to me! Cheers, -- Marc Packenius @ 4P | Zentrale Seitenauslieferung, Dsseldorf I came up with a little trick because my dog doesn't like going to the vet. I just say, "Hey Bounder! The vet just called, and I think he's ready to give your testicles back." -- Andy Pierson
