Hmmm.  I didn't look at this, but I think maybe I should.  I'm
assuming you mean authentication through a POP3 or IMAP server, using
the username provided by the client mail program.  I know there's a
problem here with VMailMgr and I believe it's because a certain
environment variable, normally set by tcpserver, is not set.  I don't
know what could be wrong with the VPopMail stuff, but it might be the
same problem.  I'll investigate.

I know nothing of this.  Maybe David can look at this to see what's
