No argument here.

From the preliminary research I've done on google, I can't find much in the
way of virtual domain support for PostFix. Period.

Maybe it will be included in future versions of VMailMgr and VPopMail, but
until then, it's practically non-existant. And even then, it would require
a total rewrite of the way VPopMail works at the low level of interaction
with the MTA. It would probably require a level of abstraction there. So
I don't think we're hurting anything by only supporting qmail.
