Howdy list,

I'm curious about everyone's thoughts on the following idea:

First, read this FAQ entry:

http://tmda.net/faq.cgi?req=show&file=faq04.007.htp

It explains how to auto drop confirmation bounces.

My idea would expound on that. I may be wrong, but I should think that most (if not
all) confirmation bounces are generated by spam.

Instead of just dropping the bounce, why don't we allow the admin to configure TMDA to
drop the corresponding pending message too?

If you can't send a confirmation message, then something must be wrong, and I'd guess
that you aren't too likely to recieve a
confirmation in the future.

I've personally seen above a 50/50 percent ratio of bounced spam to unbounced spam in
my pending queue. If I get 100 spam messages
in my queue per day, and 50 are dropped because the confirmation bounced, then I've
done myself a favor.

What does the list think?
