From: Jesse Guardiani <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I hate to disappoint you, but it is that simple. I did it last night with my custom Python script (which is nearly 90% original TMDA code) by changing 3 lines. See my email from a few minutes ago for details.
I plan to patch all of TMDA later today.
Sounds good, I'm sure everyone will be pleased if it turns out to be stable, and doesn't break any of the other features like body filtering.

Again, I have to disagree. But maybe that's just because I'm a sys admin
with a relatively tight budget. We bought our current mail server (DELL PowerEdge
4300 P-II 500Mhz w/Ultra SCSI-2 RAID 5 - 8 drive array) for under $500 on
ebay. Those drives are plenty fast. When we bought the server, it had 500M
of PC 100 SDRAM. I recently upgraded to 1Gb of PC100 registered ECC SDRAM
for $200, nearly half the cost of the entire server.
Right, but how much would it cost to upgrade to a faster raid array? (although as you mentioned earlier, it turns out that this change doesn't require an extra disk write)
I'm going to have to bow out of this discussion, my knowledge of python and tmda aren't sufficent to intelligently debate it. (though I don't think there is anything left to discuss anyways)
