These changes look good. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't use
FSF emacs so much. I've been using it now, but am not currently
using TMDA. (what with changing ISPs, etc, causing problems.)
Surely a new ISP shouldn't prevent you from using TMDA? As long as you
redirect your current email accounts to your home server, you ought to
be able to use any MTA you like, plus whatever add-ons, right?

I think this is an excellent idea...
I was afraid somebody was going to say that . . .

Unfortunately, no. I haven't had the time to put into
updating/fixing tmda.el. (as you can see by the 17 month gap in
checkins)
tmda.el needs a new maintainer, interested? :)

Normally I would hem and haw at this point, and make lots of noise about
not having enough time for the job. But since nobody seems to be in a
great hurry for tmda.el updates, I guess that's not a problem. ;-}
Seriously, I'd be happy to take the job; my SF user name is rgrjr if
you want to put me on the TMDA developers' list. But as it may be a
while before I can put more time into TMDA, you might also prefer to
commit this patch yourself (assuming you haven't already done so).
