I am setting them to correct values: to my return address, so that when I send mail via qmail's sendmail to other people, they get the correct address. But in this case, TMDA uses sendmail to deposit mail into _my_ mailbox coming from other people. QMAILUSER and friends certainly were never intended for this purpose. More precisely: The problem is that when I press `r' while running tmda-pending, the email is deposited in my mailbox not with the original From: header, but with a changed one. In particular, I cannot reply to the email to the sender. So: email comes in with From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] but after releasing it from tmda-pending, it comes to my mailbox with From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is a broken behavior, because in this case (qmail's) sendmail should not be run with in an environment set by me to send mail to _other_ people. -- --- Mate Wierdl | Dept. of Math.
