I am in a similar boat. I don't understand the internals very well
at all, although that hasn't prevented me from mucking with them.
But I'm willing to consider helping in anyway I can.
Likewise; I would really like to learn Python, but haven't had the time
to devote to it. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: TMDA is
brilliant, and I have come to rely on it heavily. So, although I can
only manage small things or non-Python things (or small non-Python
things) at present, I would be delighted to do what I can to help keep
it the successful project that it is.
And, speaking of non-Python things, please disregard the patch to
tmda.el I posted on 6-Nov-2004. I now have a better version, which I
will post presently.
