How unfortunate. I can understand Python 2.5 breaking things, because the asyncore library might have changed, and tlslite (which tries to get in bed with asyncore a bit) was released well before Python 2.5. I'll try and get hold of a box with Python 2.5 (or build it) to see what's up. I don't have a good explanation for this: > - Python 2.3 (TLS works, but SSL does not) Especially since it's what I tested. What version of Thunderbird are you running? I think mine was 1.5.0.9 or so, on Windows. > With Thunderbird: > > - Python 2.5 (TLS and SSL both do not work) > - Python 2.4 (TLS and SSL both work) > - Python 2.3 (TLS works, but SSL does not) > > With Apple Mail.app (which only does TLS): > > - Python 2.5 (TLS does not work) > - Python 2.4 (TLS works) > - Python 2.3 (TLS works) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFF5Kklhk3bo0lNTrURAoenAJ9A0/Pnzq0tTf+l8F7VmneuEU1TewCg6Ql7 617doi9u7WIeVjThFe8cfbA= =jEPA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _________________________________________________ tmda-workers mailing list ([email protected]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-workers
