Hi there,
It was me that was told by my doc that there
wouldn't be major improvements after a couple of years. I know there have
been a lot of others on this site who have told me otherwise. I'm so glad
to know there is still some improvement after a number of years. I had
asked him that question as I wanted to know what he thought as the
specialist. I do agree with the rest of you though that improvements
however small surprise us all. I told him at the visit that I wiggle my
toes on my left foot (the one that feels no hot or cold) and I can actually tell
that I am wiggling them. Also I touched the bottom of that same foot while
drying them one day and realized that there is a patch there that feels
'normal'. I don't know if I had just never felt that before or if it was
something new. There is always hope for which I am thankful.
